Dale Hart and John Neenan – or Hart & Neenan as they’re known on the London party scene – started producing house tracks together towards the end of 2017 and have mastered their own unique sound, with track 'Zanzibar' being released on Max Chapman's Resonance Records as well as releases on NoExcuse Records, Distance Music, and Twisted Fusion.
Friends for a number of years, the pair have both made their mark on the London tech house scene. Dale Hart – with The Hart Project and John with his releases on label heavyweights Viva Music, Armada Deep & MadTech Records - before finally joining forces to combine their groovy Deep Tech sound and bass-heavy Tech House style in their tracks.
Dale has worked the London circuit for 2 years as The Hart Project, with a minimal/deep tech sound that Dale fluidly incorporated into the pair’s DJ style. He has played for some of London’s most prolific clubs such as Egg London, Ministry of Sound, Basing House, 93 Feet East and Switch Southampton. The Hart Project also enjoys a popular residency on dance music station Select Radio.
John has played and produced across a variety of genres taking in the deeper, more tech-based vibe, right through to the heavier bass-driven deep club samples. Combining a mix of solid beats and captivating grooves that have been receiving praise from various heavyweights across the industry, John has DJ’d in some of the world’s most famous venues and has gained national radio support from various DJs on such stations as BBC Radio1, KISS FM, and Capital FM.
As DJ duo Hart & Neenan, they opened for legendary nightclub Eden in Ibiza last May, featuring on It’s All About Music Radio, and have played in Basing House, Lightbox, and Source Bar, as well as playing for brands like Habitat, Eclipsar, and Terminal 4. The boys have been enjoying head residency for their minimal tech night Metafloor, as well as being key residents for banging house brand Más Vida, playing sets at the official We Are FSTVL after party at EGG LDN earlier this year, as well as performing at their Summer Sessions Party and 1st birthday soiree at 93 Feet East and Shoreditch Platform.
The pair have had support from artists such as Joris Voorn, Paco Osuna, Tini Gessler, Hot Since 82 and WADE, and have had tracks played at Elrow and Amnesia. They will be heavily featuring in future Más Vida events for the coming year and have plenty in the pipeline at the studio, so 2019 will definitely be a year to watch Hart & Neenan.
